Affinity Medical Center was formed by a venture between two facilities: The Doctors Campus (formerly Doctors Hospital of Stark County) and The Massillon Campus (formerly Massillon Community Hospital). The venture between the two separate hospitals was finalized in February 2006 and the new organizational name was announced in June 2006. A Board of Trustees, comprised of local members of the community, governs Affinity Medical Center.
Combined the two facilities have served the community for over 142 years. It is our vision to bring together two highly skilled, caring staffs and facilities to strengthen healthcare in western Stark County so that we may care for generations to come.
