Overview
Red Rock Behavioral Health Services was founded in 1974 as a private, not-for-profit comprehensive behavioral health service provider. Today, Red Rock operates 14 offices and service delivery locations as well as 7 residential facilities and 3 adult/children crisis intervention centers serving a total of 24 counties in Oklahoma and employing nearly 450 professionals including Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors, Registered Nurses, Case Managers, administrative and supporting staff.

In 1992, Red Rock was the first in Oklahoma to receive accreditation for behavioral health services by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and continues to receive this accreditation today. Children, youth and adults receive the core services which include screening and assessment, crisis intervention, individual, family and group counseling/therapy, case management and psychological testing.

Red Rock is a contract recipient of the Oklahoma State Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, Oklahoma Health Care Authority, Oklahoma Department of Human Services, Oklahoma State Department of Health, U.S Department of Veteran Affairs, U.S. Department of Housing, Urban Development and numerous others.

Red Rock provides services under the nationally known Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT or ACT) in Oklahoma City, Tulsa and in the Shawnee/Seminole areas and also operates three Systems of Care programs in Elk City/Clinton, El Reno/Yukon and Lincoln County. Red Rock operates an office in Oklahoma City dedicated to providing services to persons infected and affected with HIV/AIDS which receives partial funding from the Ryan White Foundation, the Oklahoma AIDS Care Fund and the Oklahoma State Department of Health.

Red Rock operates crisis intervention facilities for adults in Clinton and a new location in Norman, on the campus of Griffin Memorial Hospital, and for children in the recently completed state of the art Oklahoma City Children’s facility.

In 2003, Red Rock formed a partnership with North Care Center to establish a joint-venture medication clinic and pharmacy providing services to the consumers of both entities. This creative partnership has proven highly beneficial to the consumers and to Red Rock and North Care.

Red Rock is among the largest community mental health centers in Oklahoma and has a history of providing quality services with dedicated staff that receive an excellent benefit package. Red Rock is a great place to receive care and a great place to work.
