New businesses coming to Shoppes at Bellemead

Three new businesses are coming to the Youree Drive lifestyle retail development Shoppes at Bellemead.

James Avery Craftsman, a fine jewelry store and Cantina Laredo, an upscale gourmet Mexican restaurant will both make their debut in the Shreveport area at the lifestyle center. Talbot’s will also relocate to the center, while closing its longtime store in Mall St. Vincent.

James Avery Craftsman is scheduled to open in November, while Cantina Laredo is scheduled to open in December. Talbot’s will open Sept. 1.

“This really completes the tenant mix to achieve the synergy that lifestyles retail developments are all about,” said Alvin Childs, partner in Vintage Realty and co-developer of Shoppes at Bellemead, along with Rand Falbaum.

Childs said they are still in negotiations to bring other businesses to the center, but he said it was too early to say who was coming or when they were coming.
