BalancePoint was founded in 2004 in an effort to pioneer a radical new approach to delivering services and value at levels the industry has never before delivered.
Our foundation was built upon a philosophy of basic tenets centered on integrity. Those tenets have crystallized into our BalancePoint Core Values on which we function and operate without compromise:
BalancePoint has evolved into a premier consulting firm with world-class, industry-leading market knowledge that delivers practical solutions with an uncompromising position on value generation.
What We Stand For
We operate under demanding conditions with constant change and ever-present evaluation of our profession and industry.
Our reputation is built upon the way in which our team conducts their interactions with Clients, Associates, colleagues and communities. Our BalancePoint Core Values extend beyond the boardroom, and guide us in our daily actions both in and out of the office. These Core Values serve as the framework which enables our people to know what we expect of them and what they can expect from us.
We believe with conviction that we should always be accountable for our actions and should make responsible decisions while consistently striving to promote and embrace constructive reform. Corporate governance is paramount to our practice as is the constant desire to help our Clients and Associates follow good and ethical business practices while generating business value.
We are committed to our Clients, Associates and our community, and understand that social responsibility unites an organization both internally and within the community in which it operates. Organizations and individuals who are committed and driven to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with social responsibility prefer to work with like-minded organizations and individuals. This philosophy, behavior, and manner of conducting business enable us to attract excellent Associates and Clients who share our goals and visions within and well beyond our work environment.
The BalancePoint corporate icon is the Triangle. It symbolizes a very deep meaning for all BalancePoint parties. We embrace and promote the concept of cooperation and collaboration among all 3 components in the triangular relationship - Associate, Client, and BalancePoint.
A founding principle is the transparency we offer in balancing the interests of all parties to create and sustain alignment in the process of achieving genuine trusting partnerships. Through trusting partnerships BalancePoint leverages market intelligence to provide flexible delivery of practical solutions. This philosophy is the framework upon which a solid operational structure manages risk, regulation and statutory requirements allowing our Associates, our Clients, and BalancePoint to overcome barriers in delivering common-sense solutions. So, why BalancePoint? Because at BalancePoint, all parties matter and our business practices show it!
At BalancePoint, the diverse needs of our employees, combined with the ever-changing market demands, make a comprehensive benefits package an essential part of your employment.
BalancePoint strives hard to meet the collective needs of all of our employees.
Here is what we are doing to ensure that our employees get the most value out of their benefits package:
* On an annual basis, BalancePoint reviews the market and compares our salaries and benefits to those of other companies similar in size. We have found that BalancePoint is always very competitive in the local and national marketplace.
* BalancePoint works closely with our benefit providers to evaluate the plans to see how we can keep costs to a minimum without compromising the plan design, deductibles, co-pays and service. Last year, BalancePoint employees only saw a minimal increase in premium rate, less than 1% and in some cases, a decrease. The national yearly renewal increase for companies our size is 12-17%.
* Each year, BalancePoint strives to add additional benefit options which enable us to recruit and retain the high level quality employees who make BalancePoint the great company it is today.
