In 2003 CCS was born out of the need for a correctional healthcare solution for the Department of Corrections in the State Of Kansas. Today, CCS employs over 3,000 employees and cares for approximately 64,000 lives in 19 states.


Through consumer demand, we have grown into a progressive and customer-oriented leader within the correctional health care field. As a community healthcare provider, we offer comprehensive medical, dental and behavioral health services for inmates. In addition, we do offer the individual service of adjudicating and paying medical bills for some clients.

1) orientation 2) on-the-job training 3) follow-up

New employee orientation training ensures employees are adequately prepared to accomplish assigned job responsibilities and function accordingly in the correctional environment. Expectations are communicated from day one.
