Overview
Presbyterian Children's Village provides a comprehensive range of prevention, child welfare, therapeutic, and educational
services and programs to help heal the spirits of children,families, and communities in crisis. The Village nurtures the individual, encourages healthy familial ties, and strengthens the communities of the Greater Philadelphia region.

The Village provides services from two facilities. Residential services and administrative headquarters are located on a
43-acre campus in Rosemont, PA. The Preheim Center in Southwest Philadelphia houses many of the Village's community-
based, prevention, and behavioral health services.

Presbyterian Children's Village is accredited by the Joint Commission on AccreditViolence, neglect, addiction, poverty, mental illness, racism and other societal problems can do serious damage to children and families. Presbyterian Children's Village helps community members deal with these issues and offers a safe haven for vulnerable youth. Since 1877, the Village has worked to provide dynamic, therapeutic outreach services and programs to promote healing. The Village nurtures the individual, encourages healthy familial ties, and strengthens the communities of the Philadelphia area and Greater Philadelphia region. One child's spirit is mended, a family's ties grow stronger, and the community benefits.

The Village serves about 10,000 individuals each year, encouraging healthy familial ties and strengthening the communities in the Greater Philadelphia region from its two facilities. The Rosemont campus houses the residential treatment facility for troubled teens, the semi-independent living program for teens who are transitioning out of foster care, and the Village's administrative offices. The Preheim Center in Southwest Philadelphia is the center for the most of the Village's community-based services. Clients come largely from Philadelphia and surrounding counties, as well as from throughout Pennsylvania.ation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).

They are designed to provide support and services to at-risk children and families.

Annually, Presbyterian Children's Village serves more than 10,000 children and families from Philadelphia and surrounding counties, as well as from elsewhere in Pennsylvania. Referrals for services to help children and families come from child welfare agencies, mental health agencies, managed care organizations, and educational institutions.
