The Ascent Services Group (ASG) is a leading national technology consulting and professional services firm that focuses on tactical and strategic consulting. ASG’s fundamental business is providing staffing services to Large Enterprise clients in our core market verticals: Financial Services, Healthcare, and Life Sciences. We focus the majority of our efforts in Staff Augmentation support of Large Enterprise Clients who utilize a Vendor Management System. ASG works as both a reliable supplier in support of programs, as well as a Strategic Advisor in support of enterprise efforts to establish best in class preferred vendor programs. Technology Staffing
In recent years, the business world has begun rapidly adopting new technology, increasing competiveness and cost-cutting through forward-thinking initiatives such as cloud computing, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services and video conferencing technology.

These new technologies have increased the need for IT professionals, and the employment market is becoming skewed in favor of individuals who possess the most up-to-date and in-demand IT skills. As a result, unemployment among those with advanced IT skills is low. Estimates from 2012 indicate that the average salaries for all IT professionals was expected to increase by nearly 5 percent, while the pay for higher-level technology managers was predicted to rise by roughly 4 percent.

In addition, reports from the 2011 calendar year suggest that IT operating budgets for businesses across all industries would rise by more than 3 percent. With more of their money going toward IT, business owners need to ensure that these investments are properly managed by professionals capable of swiftly implementing the technology, training co-workers and recommending new initiatives in time. Accordingly businesses are struggling to find and attract qualified professionals whether they are full-time, contract or payrolled, and are adopting an "all of the above" strategy regarding technology staffing.
