City National Bank offers its colleagues a comprehensive benefits program-called CNBenefits - that enables colleagues to choose from a variety of insurance coverages that best meet their needs.
The majority of the benefits are available on a before-tax basis through the Bank's cafeteria plan; one plan is available on an after-tax basis.
CNBenefits is available to colleagues who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week. Depending on your job level, your CNBenefits will become effective on (1) the first day of the month coinciding with or next following your hire date or (2) the first day of the month coinciding with or next following three months of service.
Together, you and the Bank share in the cost of your benefits coverage. CNB pays the full cost of core life insurance and core long term disability insurance, as well as a substantial portion of the cost of medical and dental coverage. You pay part or all of the cost of other benefits. Your portion of the cost is paid through payroll deductions on a before-tax basis, except for Supplemental Term Life Insurance, which is paid by you (through payroll deduction) after taxes have been deducted from your pay.
CNBenefits available for colleagues:
Preferred provider organization (PPO) coverage - This plan offers you the flexibility to see any provider of your choice. When you need care, you decide whether to use the PPO network or doctors and hospitals outside the network.
Choice of HMO providers - Choose an offered health maintenance organization plan to select a medical group or independent practice association (IPA) for your health care needs..
