Career Opportunities
(ST. LOUIS) Jan. 24, 2007 – Elizabeth C. Foshage, CPA, has been named Vice President of Finance at Ascension Health, the nation’s largest Catholic and largest nonprofit health system. In this role, Foshage will direct and supervise the day-to-day activities of the Finance department, including: financial performance and direction; financial reporting; financial planning and budgeting; and other financial processes that support financial operations and local Health Ministries.

Foshage has been with Ascension Health since 1992, most recently serving as Director, Shared Services Accounting. Prior to that, she was Controller for the System Office and Manager for Investment Accounting. She brings more than 23 years of finance experience to the Vice President, Finance position, including 14 years of healthcare finance experience, said Anthony J. Speranzo, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, AscensioHealth. “Throughout her time with Ascension Health, Liz has emerged and proven herself a natural leader.”

Prior to joining Ascension Health, Foshage held finance positions for Missouri Baptist Health Center, St. Louis, Mo., as well as Ernst & Young, LLP, in St. Louis, Mo. and New Orleans, La. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration (Cum Laude) from Loyola University, New Orleans, La.

In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Missouri, Foshage is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Health Care Financial Management Association. She is a member of the Loyola University Alumni Association and has been involved in the Multiple Sclerosis Young Achievers Fund Raising Campaign. Foshage serves on several Parish Committees for St. Gerard Majella Parish in St. Louis County.
