POSITION: 6607 Managed Print Services Operations Coordinator – Charlotte, NC


LOCATION: Charlotte, NC 28210

JOB TYPE: 1 year renewable contract

HOURS: Normal daytime business hours

COMPENSATION: $18 - $23 per hour depending on history


SmartSource has a 1 year renewable contract in Charlotte, NC for a MPS Operations Coordinator to assist in the daily operations of a Managed Print Service contract at a customer’s client location.


• Individual should be able to perform advance functions with Excel including experience extrapolating data using pivot tables and Vlookup.

• Excellent customer service and problem solving skills that will allow him/her to succeed in the roles and responsibilities below.

• Must be able to follow directions and guidance while able to independently resolve issues in different customer scenarios that will occur each day.

• Very well organized, responsive and can meet defined time lines.

• Must have the ability to talk to customers as needed to give assistance on issues related to Lexmark printers.


1. Using Reporting Tools from to ensure that all MPS printers are being monitored daily and reporting to the appropriate Lexmark systems.

2. Proactively researching and resolving any device issues that are preventing them from reporting by contacting customers and gathering accurate data and updating company systems.

3. Monitoring the Daily Change detection report: Alerting the Site Operations Manager of any unusual changes on this report and resolving any issues as it relates to changes.

4. Working with Project Team as needed: Operations Specialist will be responsible for coordinating Special Project Rollouts and individual moves of installed devices from start to finish.

5. Monthly Reporting: Sending the monthly Moves, Adds and Changes to devices to the Site Operations Manager by the 1st of the month for the previous month’s activities.

6. Monitoring the Support email box: Ensuring customer requests/questions are answered within 24 hours.

7. Customer follow-up: Follow up with any customer issue that was resolved by MPS team.

8. The customer should be contacted within 24 hours to ensure the issues are gone and no further assistance is needed.

9. Following proper internal escalations to ensure customer issues are resolved in timely manner.
