SmartSource is seeking a Mobile Customer Service Technician for a contract opportunity located in San Francisco, CA.

Duration: 3+ months
Location: San Francisco, CA 94105
Start Date: 10/19
Hours: 8:30am – 5:30PM
Pay Rate: $20/hour

Role: SmartSource is seeking a Mobile Customer Service Technician for a 3+ month opportunity located in San Francisco, CA. This position is more along the lines of a Level I Help Desk person with Mobile Devices. Someone who has worked at a carrier before such as AT&T, T-Mobile of Verizon would be ideal for this position. There are other Sr. Support Technicians onsite to provide the heavy troubleshooting support and in this case someone with excellent personality and customer service skills with a year of experience.
• Provision new lines of service for mobile devices
• Provision upgrades for mobile devices
• Facilitate warranty exchanges and replacements of mobile devices
• Scan asset barcodes and organize assets as needed
• Load applications as requested following -provided process
• Migrate user data as requested
• Manage the inventories of unassigned new, return, Hot Swap and redeployment mobility devices. To this end, Supplier will:
• Forward information on all known asset discrepancies or issues to Manager, Global Asset Management for resolution
• Work in conjunction with the Procurement teams and Facilities Team on any major inventory moves

• Must pass a drug and criminal background check before starting
• 1-2+ years’ experience working in the IT Field or Mobile organization
• Must have familiarity with deploying IP phones.
• High level of technical proficiency in microcomputer product areas a must.
• Familiarity with large account environments and protocol required.
• Comfort and familiarity with to take units apart and re-assemble required.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills needed.
• Must have excellent customer service background.
