Job Description


Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for an Production Technician.
Job Summary
  • Performs complex testing & troubleshooting of circuits, instruments & mechanical assemblies to the component level.
  • Recognizes failure trends & provides timely communication to Engineering
  • Proficient in test processes & use of all applicable departmental tools/equipment
  • Actively participates & assists in leading area teams and/ordepartmental initiatives. May be formal or informal team lead
  • Assists in training technicians
  • Communicates daily priorities to team
  • Maintains & adheres to basic processes to achieve department goals
  • Looks for opportunities to make processes more efficient.
  • Proactively escalates possible test station problems to Lead & support teams
  • Demonstrates good cooperation with engineering teams
  • Required Skills
  • Ability to recognize & resolve deviations in the process
  • Complex analog & digital electronic debugging on assemblies & components
  • Test & debug prototype products using limited test procedures
  • Effectively communicate test feedback to New Product Introduction and Early Manufacturing Interface teams
  • Has a working knowledge of material in product debug guides.
  • Has a working knowledge of OMNI or other parametric data mining tools used to identify failure trends.
  • Competence using digitizers, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzers , power meters & NI products
  • Highly proficient at troubleshooting 3-5 product lines &/or demonstrates strong aptitude on a complex product line
  • Basic knowledge of LabVIEW.
  • Strong knowledge of problem solving methods.
