Implementation Specialist - Payroll/HR Systems

Job Description

Our client, a leading provider of human capital management services, is hiring Implementation Specialists for its office in Charlotte, NC. Implementation Specialists are responsible for assisting small to mid sized customers with the design and implementation of a configured software solution. As functional experts, they lead the customer in the build, testing and implementation of their SaaS software solution, with a primary focus on HR and payroll business processes. For larger customers, Implementation Specialists assist a Project Manager in all phases of the customer software design and implementation. Primary responsibilities are to lead a new customers through the implementation, ensuring the customer’s employee data, payroll, and HR business processes are configured accurately; create and manage project plans and teams to ensure project deliverables and customer launch dates are met; partner with other company teams to ensure all customer needs are delivered through an integrated implementation approach; monitor the implementation process for potential issues and escalates issues as needed to ensure the customer’s needs are met and the implementation process schedule is maintained; prepare customers for post-implementation self-sufficiency by delivering system training as part of the Implementation process; support the Project Manager with functional area of expertise in payroll and benefits and travel less than 10 % to customer sites within the continental US.


Job Requirements

          Minimum of three years of experience in delivering payroll services, payroll tax preferred

          Software implementation experience, preferably in a SaaS environment is preferred

          Demonstrated functional business process knowledge related to payroll services

          Demonstrated strong technical aptitude and capabilities, primarily Excel

          Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including fluency in English

          Demonstrated success in a role requiring strong attention to details, teamwork, and initiative

          Ability to travel less than 10% and overnight is preferred

          Demonstrated passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience
