Substance Abuse Counselor

Regular Full-time

BAART Programs is a leader in providing substance abuse treatment programs and primary care to people in need throughout the State of California, Vermont, Nebraska, Arizona and North Carolina. 

We are seeking a full-time substance abuse Counselor for our clinic in Chandler, AZ.

The regular work schedule for this position starts at 4:30 in the morning.

Position Responsibilities:

- Provides counseling and case management services to patients in a substance abuse treatment program.
- Keeps accurate records to insure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
- Acts as patients' liaison with entire program.

Job Requirements

- At least two years of behavioral health and counseling experience.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or similar field or a certificate in alcohol and drug counseling from an accredited agency. 
- Substance abuse counseling experience and an advanced degree preferred.
