Essential Responsibilities - Customer Service Specialist:

  •  Acknowledge and engage customers that approach the customer service desk.

  • Enter sales transactions into the computer system with accuracy.

  • Manage incoming phone calls with professionalism and tact.

  • Process credit applications, while maintaining confidentiality of customer records.

  • Effectively explain financing plans and other terms of sale to the customer.

  • Effectively explain the terms for customer pickup or delivery.

  • Recall customer information (i.e. past sales, order status, etc.) from the computer system when necessary.

  • Verify the status of customer orders

  • Conduct customer follow-up phone calls.

  • Coordinate and schedule furniture deliveries

  • Coordinate and schedule service calls

  • Address customer conerns and issues

  • Able and willing to sell products and services

 

Common Responsibilities - Customer Service Specialist:

  •  Take care of all customers through direct action or indirectly by assisting others.

  • Work with other employees to attain company goals.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Processes and schedules orders to meet customer expectations.

  • Good detail skills. Reading and math skills to interpret and calculate customer orders.

  • Explain products and services

  • Ensure the highest levels of customer service are maintained at all times.

  • Help out with daily over-all business operations.

  • Ensure that each customer has a positive experience

  • Additional Duties when appropriate and assigned by management

Job Requirements

  • Retail sales or customer service type background/experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced competitive environment.
  • Ability to positively interact effectively with our customers.
  • Handle multiple projects at once.
  • Interact with a variety of personalities.
  • Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Must adhere to dress code policy.
  • Must be available retail store hours, Monday through Sunday as assigned.
  • Able to work up to 40 hours for FT positions
  • Must have minimum education requirement of HS Diploma or GED.
  • Experience within a similar role is a plus
