Behavioral Health Clinician

Job Description

Qualified candidate will function as part of an assessment team, complete functional behavioral assessments, makes recommendations for services and connect clients to services. 


Hours of Work:  15-20 hours per week

Job Requirements

    • Masters Degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related behavioral health field required;
    • Licensed in respective field preferred;
    • A minimum of three (3) years experience working in the behavioral healthcare system with children and adolescents preferred;
    • Must possess ability to clinically address emotional/psychological needs of child/adolescent and family;
    • Knowledge of crisis management techniques, including de-escalation strategies;
    • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills;
    • Experience working with managed care organizations preferred;
    • Experience with performing functional behavioral assessments and accompanying behavior support plans preferred;
    • Valid driver’s license and own transportation required;
    • Must be able to work flexible hours, including day, evening and weekends as necessary
