Chanhassen, MN 4/1/2014 Save Job Sign in Now Email Print Report Apply Now Job Description Novaspect, Inc, an Emerson Local Business Partner and global leader of process systems and solutions, is currently offering an opportunity for a Sales Associate to join our fast paced, customer orientated team in our Chanhassen, MN location. The successful candidate will perform various customer service functions including order entry, expediting orders, and answering customer calls for our Systems group. We are searching for an individual with a minimum of 2 years experience in a sales environment and knowledge of purchase order/invoice business systems. Strong knowledge of computer applications including MS Word, Excel and the Internet is required. In addition, the candidate should demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of customer orders (order entry, expediting). Competent in understanding technical product purchases orders & service contracts. Awareness of software program relationships and to the ability to work quickly between multiple programs. Ability to resolve customer issues, complaints, and requests in a timely, professional manner. Communicate opportunities, discuss customer issues, and work with Outside Sales People and Application Engineers in customer account planning. Actively participate with team members to achieve company goals. Other duties as required. Job Requirements Education and/or Experience: High school graduation or equivalent. A minimum of 2 years experience in a sales environment. Extensive and exceptional customer service practices. High computer application literacy including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn internal business systems. Additional Requirements: Understand order processing systems and delivery channels. Able to manage difficult or emotional customer situations and respond promptly to customer needs. Quickly embraces, learns and applies new technology and/or procedures Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication skills and proven ability maintain high customer service. Proven ability to build and support teamwork.
