Medication Aide PRN

Job Description

Position Summary

Responsible for but not limited to administration of medications as delegated by Charge Nurse. Responding to resident complaints and concerns as well as relaying them to the Charge Nurse while assisting resident as allowed by law. Document and maintain records pertaining to but not limited to medication administration and narcotics reconciliation.


Job Requirements

Minimum Job Requirements:

 Work Experience:    

  • Min. 1 year experience as Certified Medication Aide preferred but not required.  
  • License/Registration/Certification:
    • Medication Aide Certification.
    • BLS/CPR

Education and Training:

  • High School Certification/G.E.D. or Equivalent.
  • Graduate from a approved Medication Aide Course  


  • Good communication skills.
  • Preferred bilingual English and Spanish.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
