Our client is a privately held, diversified material science company that has multiple plants in the US, Asia and Europe. They pride themselves on commitment to technical innovation, quality products and custom service.


They need a Plant Manager in Henderson, Kentucky.  This position is responsible for providing leadership and vision to direct the production, laboratory, maintenance, shipping and receiving, customer service and office support departments. The primary objective is to supply customers with the products and services they require while operating within a defined budget to meet Company goals and objectives.


This role will be measured by the person’s ability to provide team leadership; support and sponsorship for corporate culture and practices; understanding the organization's mission and functions; develops cooperative working relationships with others; designs and communicates goals to maximize performance. Requirements


Must have a BS degree in an engineering discipline, Plastics would be ideal.


Must have demonstrated progressive manufacturing management experience, including P/L responsibility for plant operations to ensure plant performance meets profit objectives.


Prefer experience in plastics compounding, mixing or extrusion.  


Must have a history and passion for meeting performance targets and achieving results


Demonstrated understanding and abilities in labor relations, safety, quality, ISO and LEAN manufacturing processes


Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
