Financial Analyst: Wichita ks  NATIONAL NON AEROSPACE CLIENT.  CORPORATE WICHITA KS. GROWTH POSITION.  COMPANY HAS NEVER HAD A LAYOFF. 
    

  EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
• A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university required, MBA preferred
• Prefer 2 plus years experience responsible for production of detailed reports and analysis
• Working knowledge of financial statements, balance sheets and financial Proforma methods
•  Computer literate with superior knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access
• Professional appearance and presentation

The Financial Analyst conducts quantitative analyses of economic and accounting data needed to report information for the benefit and growth of the company. Specifically the information will be affecting revenue and cost analysis for both property operations and corporate cost centers. This is a project based job with an equal balance of focus on special projects and daily, weekly, and monthly reports. This job requires an in-depth knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, labor modeling, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Draw charts and graphs, using computer spreadsheets, to illustrate technical reports
• Influence spending decisions by analyzing financial information to forecast property, area, or market, economic conditions
• Monitor developments in the fields of industrial technology, business, finance and economic theory
• Interpret data on price, yield, stability, future investment-risk trends, economic influences and other factors affecting capital expenditures and daily operations
• Monitor fundamental economic, industrial and corporate developments by analyzing information from financial publications and services, investment banking firms, government agencies, trade publications, company sources or personal interviews
• Prepare plans of action for changes based upon financial analyses
• Evaluate and compare the relative quality of various metrics among and between properties, departments and franchise operations
• Present oral or written reports of project conclusions supported by complete data analysis

Getting Information – Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources
Interpreting the Meaning of Information for Others – Translating or explaining what information means and how it can be used
Processing Information – Compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data
Making Decisions and Solving Problems – Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems
Updating and Using Relevant Knowledge – Keeping up-to-date technically, and applying new knowledge to your job
