Executive Search Associates is a boutique executive search recruiting firms in Dublin, Ohio since 2001. We provide highly competent and qualified commercial banking and insurance professionals to national employers.

Our client has grown from a small insurance brokerage agency to one of Central Ohio's largest

largest risk management consultancies. Over the past few years, they have grown to 20 employees.

The Commercial Lines Account Manager will provide a high level of sales support and customer service to brokerage clients.  Duties include managing a specialty program, marketing, and customer service in coordination with the producer and other Insurance Agency personnel.  The ideal person is a seasoned commercial account manager who can excel at the challenge of managing and organizing a book of business.

The Account Manager has good multi-line lines property and casualty insurance product knowledge and is familiar with the specific products offered by the Agency's carriers.  

Also responsible for assisting clients with service needs and making changes to existing accounts.  The Account Manager will work with other Agency personnel to underwrite, design and recommend proper insurance and risk management programs to Agency captive trucking clients.  The Account Manager will review and analyze loss runs and claims information.

Functional areas of responsibility include underwriting to Captive/reinsurance guidelines, account servicing and program liaison with Captive principals and the reinsurer.

Job Requirements

    • Leads commercial accounts through renewal process to department procedures
    • Works with the team to write new business proposals
    • Reviews insurance and indemnification parts of contracts
    • Assists in the design of insurance and risk management plans for clients as assigned
    • Provides clients with full exposure analysis and reviews methods of handling risks
    • Processes change request/endoresements, binders, certificates, account summaries, policies and lost.

    • Attention to detail and good excel reporting abilities 
    • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
    • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize in order to meet deadlines
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
    • Proven understanding of cost-effective recruiting strategies
    • Self motivated, goal driven and mature
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and any applicant tracking system
