SMARTSOURCE is looking for an individual for a contract opportunity



Job type: contract

Duration: March-December 2015

Locations: Randolph Street, Chicago, IL with some travel to Waukegan, IL;

possibly some travel to other states

Rotating 24 x 7 schedule

40-50 hours a week





This position will assist the Virtual Technologies IT Infrastructure Team working with

Hewlett Packard Server Hardware and Virtualization Technologies, Virtualization Technologies include Citrix Systems and VMware Technologies.



This applicant will work directly with management and technicians on the team scheduling server reboots patching and operating systems installation. This may also entail working with vendors to place troubleshooting calls. This may also entail working extended after business hours and weekend work.





Server, storage and virtualization. Racking and cabling of equipment for OS installations

and configurations. Scheduled maintenance during maintenance hours.



Requirements:

Experience with customer support / technical support / application

support preferred.

Programming/Scripting/Debugging experience preferred Experience with

24x7 on-call support.

Experience with handling inventory.

Must be able to learn, adapt, and take initiative.

Must have a great attitude.

Must be able to multi-task multiple projects.

Ability to travel to Waukegan Data Center during off hours if needed.

Ability to travel domestically if needed.
