Texas Rehabilitation Hosptial of Fort Worth, a Centerre Healthcare & Texas Health Resources affiliation.  Our 66 bed, state of the art hospital is dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the disabling effects of an acute injury or illness. Texas Rehabilitation hospital offers specialized treatment programs for patients recovering from Stroke, Brain Injury, Neurological conditions, Trauma, Spinal cord injury, amputation and orthopedic injury.

 The PT assumes responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients and provides occupational therapy evaluations, modalities and treatments in accordance with established hospital and department policies and procedures, maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care.
An PT also assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of those patients being treated by Physical Therapy Assistants. The PT  accurately assesses patients' needs; identifies and initiates appropriate occupational therapy interventions; provides patient and family teaching; and works cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.  These functions are carried out according to hospital policy in accordance with the mission and vision of the hospital and consistent with the philosophy of the department.

Job Requirements

Must have a current PhysicalTherapist License in the state of Texas and have a Current Basic Life Support/CPR Card.
